RiverNotes 2 Software License Terms
1. Purpose
These terms aim to define the rights and obligations of the user regarding the use of the RiverNotes2 software (hereinafter “the Software”), published by Tripy, a public limited company registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0873.678.307, with its registered office located at 320 Faubourg de Bruxelles, 6041 Gosselies – Belgium.
By checking the “I accept the terms of use” box, the user acknowledges having read and unreservedly accepted these terms.
2. License Duration
The use of the Software is granted for a fixed duration of 12 months (1 year) from the date of activation. At the end of this period, the license automatically expires unless a new contract is concluded or the user explicitly renews it.
3. Conditions of Use and Rights to Creations
The user is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right, linked to a single user, to use the Software for their needs, notably to create, edit, and export rally roadbooks. The user is entirely free to use, sell, or distribute the roadbooks created with the Software to third parties.
The license allows the Software to be activated on up to 2 different computers using Windows or macOS operating systems.
Any reproduction, distribution, availability, or use of the Software itself without the Editor’s written approval is strictly prohibited. The Software, its documentation, and its updates remain the exclusive property of the Editor.
4. Intellectual Property
The Software, its documentation, its updates, and all components remain the exclusive property of the Editor. No transfer of intellectual property rights is made through this contract.
5. Maintenance and Support
During the validity period of the license, the Editor may provide:
Software updates, if available,
Technical support exclusively by email at: info@tripy.eu.
The availability of updates during the license period is not guaranteed, and the Editor does not commit to any particular frequency, which depends on its development strategy.
6. Liability
The Editor makes every effort to ensure the Software’s reliability but does not guarantee that it is free of errors. Under no circumstances shall the Editor be held liable for indirect damages, data loss, or revenue loss resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.
7. Data and Confidentiality
The data processed via the Software remains the property of the user.
8. End of License
Upon expiration of the authorized period, or in case of termination due to serious breach, the user must cease all use of the Software. Access may be automatically suspended.
9. Acceptance of License Terms
When purchasing the license, the user must read and accept these license terms.
If the user refuses these terms, the license purchase cannot be completed.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts for the district of the Editor’s registered office.
